Bonjour!!! Je m'apelle Lynndrell Washington and if you haven't notice yet, I love to travel. I caught the travel bug in fourth grade, when I announced to my history teacher that I would see the Eiffel Tower one day. Little did I know, that I would get to fulfill that dream!

So, when I was in college I was presented with the opportunity to study abroad and I took full advantage. Fast forward ten years now and I haven't been the same ever since. I understood how big the world was and I wanted to explore more. However, the valuable tips that I learned along the way, made this trip a dream come true.

Study abroad hands down was the best decision I ever made and I encourage anyone who is in college to do Study Abroad. Not only will you be provided a place to stay but it gives you an opportunity to mingle with other students from the country. I applied to a lot of scholarships which gave me access to free money and I was able to save a lot.

I stayed in Angers, France but I made sure to visit Paris, France by train which brings me to my next point. It’s very important for you to learn a little bit of the language to show that you are at least making an effort. Despite what some people may say, French people were some of the nicest people I've met. When you travel, if you want to save money, stay in a hostel. Don't waste your money on an expensive hotel because you will spend most of your time exploring the city anyway. Being in Paris, France gave me a lot of opportunities to visit the museums for free like the Lourve, Palace of Verseilles and the Notre Dome.

If you happen to be in Paris, France on the first Sunday of the month throughout the year, you would defiantly be able to explore their rich history at no cost. In addition to the beautiful architecture and the history, the food is great!

Before you leave Paris, France you have to try their crepes and warm chocolate filled croissants.

There will be alot of food trucks available and they are just as good or even better than the upscale restaurant food. Paris wouldn't be Paris without the Eiffel Tower....so it is a must that you visit this beautiful landmark.

There so much more I can say about this magnificent city but I want you to discover Paris, France for yourself. After all, the world is your oyster.
