Hey guys! A couple of weeks ago I planned a trip to visit a graduate school in Valdosta, GA. My friend who went with me has family from Chicago, so I've heard so many stories about the deep dish pizzas there( Chicago trip coming soon!) After visiting my graduate school and circling around the city of Valdosta, we concluded there wasn't much going on.... Orlando however was about two hours away and had a location of the pizza place,I kept hearing about! Soooo what did we do? The same thing any other foodie would do, we jumped in the car and headed to Orlando!

SN: Orlando is a great place and they have so many different excursions but there isn't a beach near sadly. The nearest beach is about an hour away. So relaxing on the beach was taken off my list, since I was only there for one night :(

While heading to Orlando we still didn't have a place to stay! I checked all over the place for hotels but since it was the same day prices were sky high. Welp , this whole trip was spur of the moment so I decided to utilize Price line "NAME YOUR PRICE" tool.

How does Name your price work?

Users can suggest a price for a flight or hotel in a particular area. Users should know that when bookings there is no way for the buyer to know the vendor of the hotel or flight.

I chose the 3.5 star option in Kissimmee,FL. Priceline generated my bid of 72 dollars and got a hit! The hotel that generated was beyond what I could have ever imagined on such a short notice! I was privileged to stay in the West Gate Town Center Resort and Spa- 7700 Westgate Blvd, Kissimmee FL, 34747. IT WAS AMAZING! I honestly wish I could of stayed longer to enjoy all of there free amenities offered to the guest. I stayed in the One-Bedroom deluxe villa. The concierge even gave me a villa with a balcony that overlooks their beautiful lake.

My first impression of the resort was it reminded me of a huge amusement park. When we walked into the lobby it was as big as the bottom floor of a food court! They had all types of help centers where you can get help with attractions tickets, local amusement parks and fun things to do around the area. There was also a list of free amenities and coupons for each guest at the resort. Guest got complimentary sports equipment rentals, complimentary single bike rentals, complimentary family swan boat rentals, complimentary mini golf, Owners’ Barbecue, Owners’ Breakfast, 15% discount on Serenity Spa services,15% discount at Drafts Sports Bar & Grill, and guests can purchase an activities card to get unlimited use of bikes, boats, mini golf and sports equipment for $40 fee + tax.

Listen guys! I'm not easily impressed when it comes to hotels but this place is great, it's like they thought of everything !!! Its so vast with ample opportunity to enjoy yourself, it would be extremely hard to capture it all in the article. Since there's so much to do at the resort, (click here) to check out the website.

Cons: The resort is extremely large and on the night of my check-in lines were incredibly long. It took about an hour and thirty minutes to finally get to the room. Also the Villa decor wasn't very modern.

Pros: A lot of activities, comfy bed, huge bathrooms, great views, close to everything, has several planning center, free movie theater, amazing customer service, and helpful staff.

When we finally got to the room ironically enough the pizza place's menu was sitting on the kitchen table. The hotel receives deliveries for the pizza place we came to try!!! How cool is that!!

The pizza place is called Giordano's Pizza- Famous stuffed deep dish pizza. Of course, I had to get chicken and pineapple with bell peppers ( my favorite!) Foodies I'm telling you their pizza is finger licking good! You can experience it even if your not near any of their locations, because they ship pizza orders.

YES! You read right, THIS MOUTH EXPLODING GOODNESS CAN BE SHIPPED. "Feed your deep dish addiction" (Click here) to check out their website and information on shipping .

I ate two slices that night and swore to take the rest home the next morning.

While jumping out the car I DROPPED THE WHOLE PIZZA FACE FIRST ON THE GROUND. I was almost in tears as it hit the floor in what seemed like slow motion, my pizza was gone. I'm grateful to have at least experienced those two slices!

SN: About a week later my friend surprised me with a new box of pizza! It tasted just as good as i remembered. The world was in balance again.
